Brain Injury Recovery Support (Remote)
Over many years of working with people in a healing context, I have observed the brain’s remarkable capacity for adaptation and change.
How I Support Brain Injury Recovery
The human brain is not fixed. It can reorganize, form new connections, and develop new patterns of functioning throughout life. After injury or disruption, this adaptability can play an important role in how a person experiences themselves, their relationships, and their daily life.
My work focuses on supporting this natural capacity.
I work with individuals who are navigating the effects of brain-related challenges, including sports impacts, accidents, and other significant life events. The intention of this work is not to force outcomes, but to help create internal conditions that support regulation, coherence, and recovery.
For athletes, this often means supporting the brain during periods of recovery and addressing the cumulative stress that can build over time. While a sports career may be temporary, long-term brain health remains important well beyond retirement.
For others, this work may support recovery following events such as falls or vehicle accidents, where the nervous system can remain disrupted long after the initial event.
A central part of my approach involves guided attention and visualization. Clients are invited to imagine the brain functioning in a calm, organized, and balanced way. This practice supports awareness and nervous system regulation, helping people reconnect with a sense of internal stability.
Across cultures and throughout history, healing traditions have described a vital organizing force that supports life and restoration. While the language and methods differ, the shared understanding is that this force is accessible and can be engaged intentionally. My work draws from this universal perspective while remaining grounded, practical, and client-centered.
If you or someone you care about is navigating recovery from a brain injury, I invite you to begin a conversation. You can learn more about how I work, and I can learn more about your situation to determine whether this approach may be a good fit.
